Backed over my son's bike which of course was laying in the driveway. Couldn't ask for a better bend in a rim. Broke out the BFH and went to work. Thought I was going to have to buy another. Ran across this video and broke out the old computer and put my BFH away.Worked perfectly. Amazing how it fixed the massive bend when my BFH wouldn't.Guess everything isn't a nail.🤔Great info and money saver. My son and I thank you.
Impacts are responsible for a tire being that bent so impact must also be the solution! Elementary my dear bike man!
great stuff. great enthusiasm
Haven't driven a car since 2013. Thank you for all the tips. You've kept me on the road more than just a few times.
I love the input from Mr. Pump!
Cheap & Easy Fix But if I paid money for a bike shop to true my Wheel & I walked into the shop & some guy was Jumping on my wheel I'd Be PISSED HAHHHAHA
Thank you bikeman. it really really works. You saved me like 15 bucks. 👌
I have a more serious problem. Not only does it wobble side to side like this one for, but the radius is oblong, so the brake pads don't always have a surface to grab at all, and the tail in feels bouncy.
i dont know if ur an idiot or a genius
What if the wheel is a super light weight race wheel and it needs truing really bad could that method work my rims are made out of light weight aluminum
u talk to much just get to it
My friend and I were trying to fix his wheel after a he massively overshot a big jump and landed to flat horribly warping his front wheel. We saw this video and laughed a little at first because it seemed completely mad to try and stand on a wheel to straighten it; however it quickly became apparent that the wheel was not going to be able to be repaired the traditional way so we went ahead and tried this method. We were very surprised when it ended up going back into shape after just a few times jumping on it, from there we were able to get the significantly less drastic wobble out with spoke wrenches and a truing stand.
BIG THANKS!! First time bending a rim. It came out almost perfect, tightened some spokes and TADA. Back rollin again. Love your store!! Keep on Rockin and Rollin yaaa. Thanks again Greg
AT 11:12 a raccoon runs out the building!
Pause at 4:47
You could just losen he spokes on the opposite side
What kind of truing stand is that? Ive never seen one like that!?
who else saw what seems to be a racoon 3:59
Schwinn was Giant's first big contract back in 1977.

hey the introduction sounds like the beginning of BSF recovering if you don't know what that is just type in BSF and follow the prompts and there you go.
Spectacular channel. Always a biiiig help in keeping me on my two wheels.
Nice trick thanks for posting.
Thank you for your video. bought a bike on ebay with a bent wheel wish I would have seen your video. Paid $99.67 for the bike cost $90.17 to ship back and seller would not paid return shipping for damaged goods. I could have used your method to try and straightened damaged wheel. I did take it to a bike shop but they would not try to fix it for me.
keep fighting the oil thing in your tundra ☺
Very nice would have never thought of that method. I'm use to finding the edge of a table and whacking the wheel into it to reshape it back but only with a fully inflated tire so the wheel doesn't concave in from the impact
